'Very-Berry-Very: Don't drink that potion!' is a visual novel set in a magic school with anthropomorphic animal characters about a love potion gone wrong. It's a lighthearted story with uncomplicated plot points, and it tells the player in a lighthearted way how a group of charming characters try to fix things.
At the time, I was leading the project and felt the need to develop visual elements that could easily convince the team of the game's direction and appeal to the target audience. I used a bright pink color for the logo, including colorful decorations inspired by the game's main themes of 'magic school' and 'love potion.' I designed and developed the UX and UI to match this visual tone, while also working with an illustrator on character design. I also ran an online channel to showcase the game and communicate development progress, created image resources, and wrote the scripts that underpin the demo game.
The project has now been handed off to another team, and development is on indefinite hiatus after participation in external events and a crowdfunding attempt. However, you can check out its history on the official X(foremly Twitter) account for the team I ran, and I've included the teaser and PV videos I was responsible for producing when the project was first announced below.
